A collaborative project of the Highland Utah South Stake and Congregation Kol Ami to Xeriscape the grounds around Kol Ami
We’re very excited and grateful to Dovan Lapin for being the inspiration behind this project and to the Highland Utah South Stake for taking us on as a service project. This is a wonderful expression of our interfaith partnerships that will greatly reduce our water usage, support our mission of tikkun olam, and improve the appearance of our property.
Congregation Kol Ami has teamed up with our friends in the community to update and improve the landscape around the building with the goal of reducing water consumption and improving security.
As part of this project we’ll be installing new concrete pathways to Esther’s Garden.
We need volunteers to help make this happen
Work will begin the week of August 3rd – 7th to remove the existing landscape and plant new trees and shrubs. Each day a new group of Stake members will arrive and work from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
