About Jan Saeed

Jan Saeed has served in the fields of cross cultural and interfaith community building, conflict resolution, race unity, and public health. She served as Director of Global Peace and Spirituality at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah for 15 years, ending that service in 2023. She was the founding chair of the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable serving for five years beginning in support the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. She is currently involved with the One Kind Act a Day campaign. She is always happiest when engaging in spaces where diverse peoples and groups are working together to build a better world.

Jan has a B.S. in Community Health Education from the University of Utah and a M.A. in Consultation and Conflict Resolution from Landegg International University in Switzerland.

On a personal level, Jan is a member of the Baha'i Faith and enjoys participating in deep meaningful conversations that lead to action and positive change. She has served at the local, regional, national, and international level in various roles as well as speaking at international conferences on interfaith education and community building. She is an avid traveler and loves learning about new cultures. She enjoys sharing the outdoors, snorkeling, skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and hiking, with family and friends, both new and old.
