Critical Thinking Through Jewish Text and History
The 8th through 10th Grade program meets weekly and is designed to complement the students' secular education by touching on historical and political themes.
- 8th Grade: History of Zionism; Comparative Religions
- 9th Grade: Jewish Ethical Texts and Modernity; Holocaust
- 10th Grade, Confirmation Class: Jewish Values in Action: Learning to build respectful arguments based on Jewish and secular ethical writing. The 10th Grade year culminates in a trip to Washington D.C. and a Confirmation Ceremony.
- 11th and 12th Grades: Post-Confirmation student meet monthly for discussions of self-selected topics.
