Esther's Garden

Judging by the heat, it's definitely the height of summer! With summer comes tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggplants; apricots, pears, and peaches. All of these delicious fruits and vegetables are being grown in Congregation Kol Ami's community garden. However, they do not grow without help and we need people who love to get their hands dirty and want to help Esther’s Garden flourish!

If the thought of bringing food from the earth to enjoy and share excites you, contact Siamak Khadjenoury at to get more information and find out how you can help.

Office High Holiday  Help

We are looking for volunteers in the office to help with High Holidays. Looking for someplace to add your talents? Please call the Main Office at 801-484-1501 or email

Substitute Recycler

The Volunteer position of Substitute Recycler has become available again. The Substitute Recycler picks up recycling from the kitchen when I am out of town. Many thanks to David Dowsett who has served in this volunteer position for the past several years.

I also take e-waste and medications to drop-off sites during the summer months. Please call or email me for further details.

Your Kol Ami Recycler,
Susan Schulman
