What is Life & Legacy?
As a community, we all hope that those places that create Jewish life and meaning in our lives will remain vibrant and strong into the future. Life & Legacy, an initiative of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, helps individuals and families create legacy gifts, providing a permanent source of support for the Jewish causes we care about. It is founded on the principle that all of us, regardless of age, wealth or affiliation, can make an enduring impact. The United Jewish Federation of Utah in partnership with Congregation Kol Ami, Jewish Family Service, and Temple Har Shalom, are working together to encourage legacy giving to assure Jewish tomorrows in our community.

How Do I Participate?
Your legacy gift of any size can be customized and structured to fit your dreams, lifestyle, family, and financial needs. You can provide support for particular organizations or areas of interest. Leaving a Legacy is simple. Some options include:

   • Charitable Remainder Trust
   • Gift in Will or Trust
   • Gift of Life Insurance
   • Gift of Retirement Funds or IRA
   • Gift of Cash or Assets
   • Gift of Real Estate
   • Charitable Gift Annuity
Please consult your professional adviser to determine which method of legacy giving is best for you.

Your legacy gift to Congregation Kol Ami helps us enhance lives and nurture spirits for generations to come. Please join us!
To name Congregation Kol Ami in your estate plans (or if you already have and want to let us know), you can download the completed Declaration of Commitment form and return it to us. You can also choose to leave a legacy with other participating Jewish organizations listed on this form.
