Join the women of Rosh Chodesh for a joyful and meaningful evening in the Sukkah. Special guest Faye Lincoln will present “Creating Transformative Unity from Jewish History, Prophecy, and Legend… An Exercise in Imagining.” Together, we’ll celebrate the holiday of Sukkot with learning, conversation, and community.

This group is open to all women ages 21+, who are members of the synagogue or are currently enrolled in our Introduction to Jewish Life Course. While there is no cost for this event, donations are greatly appreciated.

After our morning Sukkot services, stay and enjoy a light lunch as part of our Sukkot Lunch & Learn with Rabbi Spector and guest speaker Jillian Olmsted, Executive Director of The INN Between. Jillian will share her personal connection to The INN Between, the vital role it plays in our community, and the many ways volunteers make a difference. RSVP here!

Young Adults Sake & Sushi in the Sukkah

Young adults, ages 21–40, are invited to gather in the Sukkah for a lively evening of sake, sushi, and celebration! Enjoy sake and mocktails while professional chef, Antonio Rivera, teaches us the art of rolling sushi. Whether you’re a sushi pro or a first-timer, you’ll leave with new skills, new friends, and a joyful way to celebrate Sukkot. Attendees must be ages 21–40. Space is limited! RSVP here by Oct. 7th!

Celebrate community, connection, and the joy of Sukkot! Join us as we welcome our new members and show appreciation for all our members who make Kol Ami such a warm and engaging congregation. Following Tot Shabbat at 5:00pm, enjoy a delicious, family-friendly dinner followed by a Shabbat Service in the Sukkah (weather permitting) at 6:30pm. RSVP by noon on Oct. 9th!

Song Circle with Cantor Davis
Saturday, October 11th • 7:00pm
Grab a guitar and warm up your voice! Join Cantor Davis for an informal gathering of guitar players, folk singers, and like-minded souls. Following Havdalah, we'll cover popular tunes from the '60s through the '90s under the star-lit ceiling. All are welcome! Lyrics, chord sheets, warm beverages, and Sukkah provided. Bring your voice, your ax, your blanket, and whatever you need to join in. Let there be songs to fill the air!
