Beginner Hebrew

Classes being October 21st
Tuesdays • 7:00pm – 7:50pm • Zoom
Eight classes, October 21st – December 16th (no class on November 25th)

In this class, taught by Janna Zamir, we’ll begin with the basics of the Hebrew aleph-bet—consonants and vowels. Alongside this, we’ll practice reading short words, gradually progressing to longer words and simple sentences. Over time, students will gain the skills to read and understand important Biblical verses and prayers.

Open to adults ages 18+, this virtual class meets on Zoom in 50-minute sessions. In addition to a study book, we’ll enrich our learning with relevant videos and recordings of Hebrew prayers and songs.

Kol Ami Members/Current Intro Students: $100 for biblical, $180 for both biblical and modern
Guests: $200 for biblical, $360 for both biblical and modern
+ $30 for the book, "Aleph isn’t Tough," if needed for Beginner Biblical Hebrew
