Kol Ami is in need of volunteers to assist in the spring maintenance of the newly installed Waterwise Xeriscaping Project. There are many new wonderful trees and plants around our building that need some TLC to ensure they thrive in the upcoming growing season.
We are looking for 15 – 20 volunteers to assist in weeding, pruning, and fertilizing the newly improved planting beds. There is also existing vegetation around the building that can use some trimming and upkeep. Volunteers are encouraged to bring rakes, shovels, and work gloves as well as any light equipment they may have available including trimmers, edgers, shears, and saws.
