Chanukah Concert
This concert, featuring a trio of Scott Harris (clarinet), Joel Rosenberg (viola), and Jeffrey Price (piano), will blend the soulful, spirited sounds of klezmer with the elegance of classical music, creating a unique and festive experience for the Chanukah season.
The concert will open with 'Andante' from the Sonata for Viola and Piano, Op. 39, by Rachmaninoff, in memory of Rabbi Frederick Wenger z"l. The program will include both traditional klezmer Chanukah tunes and classical works by composers such as Max Bruch, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ludwig van Beethoven. This combination will highlight the beauty of classical music while celebrating the joyous occasion of Chanukah.
While there is no cost for tickets, donations are greatly appreciated! Underwriting opportunities are also available. All proceeds benefit Kol Ami.
