Sex and Judaism

Join Rabbi Sam Spector and Kol Ami congregant and psychologist, Dr. Don Strassberg, for a three-part series on Sex, Love, and Judaism. The first class will take place on Tu B’Av, commonly known as “Jewish Valentine’s Day,” the most romantic day of the Hebrew calendar. The second and third sessions will take place during the month of Elul, commonly known as the most romantic month of the year.

August 11th, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Session 1: Kosher Sex—Sex, Love, and Intimacy in Judaism 

September 8th, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Session 2: Sex, Intimacy, and Aging

September 22nd, 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Session 3: Hopes for a New Year; Finding a Partner

Each class will be in-person at the synagogue and is FREE for Kol Ami Members and current participants of our Intro to Jewish Life class. Non-members are welcome to join for just $10 per person, per session. Proof of Covid vaccination, including booster, is required.
