Congregants Matthew Weinstein, Laura Kessler, and Rachel Kessler-Weinstein, recently returned from a year in Israel, will share their experiences as a lens into contemporary Israel society, culture, and politics. Topics include:

Matthew Weinstein is a former Kol Ami Synagogue Director and longtime Israel activist. Laura Kessler, Professor of Law at the University of Utah, was recently a Senior Fulbright Scholar in Israel, where she investigated the tensions between religious and secular values in Israel's family law system. Rachel Kessler-Weinstein, now a 10th grader at Rowland Hall, attended 9th grade at the Walworth Barbour American International School in Israel.
