Grab a cup of coffee and get to know your fellow members! While you enjoy coffee and nosh, listen to the reading of the Israeli Declaration of Independence from the Kotel (Western Wall)! Cantor Davis and Carl Smoot will be participating in the reading—this is the first time a community outside of Israel will be part of the broadcast! This is a multi-denomination, multi-organizational event focused on reading of the Declaration of Independence with tropes that hopes to strengthen our sense of Jewish Peoplehood in Israel and abroad.
