Our speaker on May 7th is Dr. Amos Guiora who will be discussing his new book,  "The Crime of Complicity" The Bystander in the Holocaust"

As bystanders, we all make decisions. Some affect only ourselves; others impact our friends and family. Some dramatically change the lives of people we do not personally know and might never meet. In a difficult and possibly deadly situation, what would you do? Would you have the courage to act?

In telling the stories of murdered family members and the miraculous survival of his parents, Dr. Amos Guiora, a University of Utah professor, examines the role played by indifferent bystanders in the death of six million Jews.
