What do Salvador Dali, the royal family of Luxembourg, and local Jewish community member, Daniel Mattis, have in common? All were among the thousands of refugees saved from Nazi terror by Aristides de Sousa Mendes, one of the heroes later recognized by Israel as a Righteous Among the Nations for perhaps the largest rescue action by a single individual during the Holocaust. Danny will share the film Disobedience, which is about the life of Sousa Mendes and he will discuss his daughter's role in paying homage to this Portuguese hero.
