Youth Group (KAJY)

KAJY (Kol Ami Jewish Youth) is a welcoming community for the children of Congregation Kol Ami in grades 3-7 that fosters meaningful friendships, a strong sense of belonging, a connection to Jewish life and values, and the growth of confident, compassionate leaders.

Lounge Nights: Drop-in gatherings that blend fun, friendship, and community. Through games, snacks, crafts, and activities, kids build friendships, Jewish identity, and a fun connection to Jewish traditions and values.

Jewish Identity: Jewish tradition and joy are made inclusive, welcoming, and easy to engage with, giving every child the opportunity to explore and make Judaism their own, no matter their background.

Leadership: Through youth board and leadership roles, kids take on real responsibility, find their voice, and build lasting skills. We are committed to developing the next generation of strong, confident Jewish leaders.

Outings & Events: A year full of celebrations, outings, and volunteer experiences – from holiday parties and bowling to ice skating and BBQs – building fun, friendship, and giving back.

Tikkun Olam: Kids build meaningful connections while giving back to the community, putting Jewish values into action through hands-on volunteering and service experiences.
